Okay well...This is going to be an interesting, frustrating and angry next few weeks. I've reached the boiling point with my mother, so I've recently decided that I am going to petition for Emancipation in NC. I'm sick of her sh*t and I think that it is in my best interest for me to leave. It is going to be a long and exhausting process, but it is an necessary action for me to take. My mother and I fight constantly, and we've been at each others necks now more than ever. Plus, she can't afford for me to live with her and she knows it. We only get $400.00 a month: if we're lucky. That is only $4,800.00 a year. We have 450.00 rent, phone/electric bills. Diapers, baby wipes. Gas. Her cigarettes and beer. It's ridiculous. It's more money than we have. There aren't any jobs in Hayesville, so I'd have to find something in Hiawassee or Murphy, and mother dear won't let me get a job in either place just because she is too stingy when it comes to gas. Does she not understand that I will give her gas money???! And she has been unemployed since august of 2007. She refuses to TRY to find work. "Nowhere is hiring," "they won't hire me because of my arm."


EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES!!!


I can't stand it.


So, I plan on transferring schools and moving in with my sister in Toccoa, Georgia. My mother won't sign my transfer papers willingly so I will have to be emancipated before I can transfer schools. Where I would have a guardian that trusts me, supports me,listens to me, and understands me. There I will be appreciated instead of taken forgranted. I can't wait. Also, in Toccoa, there are several job oppurtunities within a fairly decent driving range, and walking range, from my sisters home. I see a better future with her than I do if I continue with my life here.


I just hope everything goes through successfully.
